This piece was made for the Ohio Valley Woodturners Guild January Luncheon and Contest.
Entries had to be elevated in some way. The roughed out burl I had seemed perfect for a Cindy Drozda inspired piece. It is made from Black Ash Burl and Black Palm. It is about 8 or 9 inches high and about 5 inches in diameter. I am proud to say it took first place in its class.

Keith, I've not seen many posts either here or the AAW site. I'm glad to see that you're still turning your usual beautiful pieces. This one is very well done.
