White oak bowl w/lid

This was to be my C&T project before lightening struck our home and shop. I didn't get the finial started dew to the lightening strike, maybe next C&T I'll have better luck.

White oak bowl and lid w/ spalting, bowl is 8 1/2" wide X 3 1/2" tall w/lid on, burned ring around bottom of lid. Sanding sealer finish only, didn't see any need to try and finish it cause I got no lathe at the moment.

Sorry about your lightning damage. Hopefully you will be up and running again soon. It was a great start. I like the grain in the wood.
