1# 2008 C&T for TDRice

American Black Cherry and Bloodwood textured, sprayed with black & red enamel, finished with poly sanded then buffed. Measures 4 3/8 X 6 1/2. New tool was a Robert Sorby Spiraling & Texturing tool I got for Xmas new technique was spraying the enamel. I'm just breaking into dyes, paints, etc. TD I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Very nice indeed! Looking at this picture I would have guessed that the upper bead was part of the lid, but I see in the other picture that it is part of the box. You know you've succeeded when people can't tell where the join line is! :D
Which wheel did you use on the texturing tool to produce the texturing?

Beautiful little box, the two woods go well together and both complement each other and the texturing really sets it off! Nicely done Twigs, its an outstanding piece.
