Mesquite Box

About 2" diameter at the largest and 3" tall. Just took this pictures real quick. I'm leaving for Southern States in the morning and wanted to post these before I go. You guys will have till Monday to pick out all the flaws. Then I'll be back to read what you have to say.

It is hard to tell, but is the top slightly conical?

What flaws? It is a very good box. The lid details are well done. I like the small vee at the join, it probably makes the box look shorter, but it gives a place to grip when opening the box. What is the finish?

All these boxes are nice Keith. I've not seen mesquite this clear. Very nice indeed. 8)

Thanks guys. Yes Phil the top is a little conical. I was told that this is Screwbean Mesquite. It's supposedly hard to get. I only had one small log. I made a natural edge bowl from the other half.
