Very nice mark. I agree with Wizzy's assessment, and I like the gentle curve from base to top. Is there an ebony knob of sorts on the top? Photo doesn't allow us to see it (if there is one).

O.K., now I see it in the larger photo. Sort of an inversion of the vessel's shape. Well done!

I'm blown away! This is awesome. Just curious though, are the lines wire burns and does the entire lid come off or just the Finial Base?

Thanks guys! The dark lines are ebony veneer. No lid, just a 3/8" hole through the top which also matches the contour of the ebony.
