Thank you for the wonderful comments. I try to fit the motif to the shape of the wood and cannot really explain what I mean by this, especially by looking at this piece. Maybe it's only my mind playing a litte trick on me, but things seem to come together when I just go with it. I tend not to over analyze my work while I'm making it.
