unknown and purpleheart

i can use a little help with this one. i have no clue what the box portion of the one is.the growth rings on it are red,green,yellow,orange,purple, and everything else in between. also i purposely made the finial crooked and burned it a little with a torch.

Thanks guys! I really did not think this was one of my better pieces. Toni I am sure you will far surpass my work in time it really was not as hard as it seems.
