I agree, just haven't done enough to know how thin is thin. something I plan to find out being I ordered 7 more pieces today

i just found this place online that has alabaster for as low as .70 per pound. http://www.utahalabastersupply.net/colors.htm but i have not ordered from them so i am not sure what their service is like. i have order from this place and i have not had any problems http://www.stonesculptorssupplies.com/

thanks! i use my regular hss tools but you need to sharpen more often, with a piece this big i sharpened 5 times.

karen the owner is a really awesome lady, if you have any issues just ask for her and i am sure she will help you out. on another note i just finished up a little maple and alabaster bowl so keep and eye out for it.
