These are fun but out of supply, cant just cut down soapstone trees for free. East Indian Soapstone

Size 4 3/4 tall by 2 1/2 beal buffed.

Larry... it turned out great, the color and texture reminds me of the Camphor blanks I got from SkyJ this morning!!! Outstanding son... outstanding! Thumbs Up!

Very nice work I am glad that you decided to give stone turning a try. But watch out, after awhile you don't want to turn wood any more. Oh yea! Where did you find the soap stone? I have not been able to find any like that.

Thanks guys. As this was my second piece I was very careful on the stem, didn't want to kill it. I picked up the stone on ebay it was like 10.00 for a 3x3x5 piece each and up to 4 shipped for 9 dollars
