Red Mallee Burl

This was the piece that beat me up that I described in the following thread http://www.turnwood.net/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.pl?board=Turning;action=display;num=1185517095
The bowl is sealed with friction polish and the edges with 3 coats of BLO. The live edge will remain unfinshed and I plan to make a short base for it to rest upon. Approximate dimensions are 14" x 3".

Another gorgeous piece! I love the look of mallee burl though I doubt I could make sing as well as you.
