The other day I was playing a game of online chess with my mom and we were chatting back and forth. I mentioned that I had turned a honey dipper. She got all excited and said, "Hint hint, I'd sure find a use for one of those."
So last night I turned one out of Black Walnut. It's sanded to 400 and buffed with Beall.
Three wire burn marks in the middle of the handle. I left the spacing of the "business end" a little wider than would be customary, but it was easier to sand, easier to buff, and it'll be easier to clean.
Dan, that is a pretty piece, I love the wood, walnut is another of my all time favorites, it turned out great and I bet your mom will love it... hehehe Ya did good!
1 question... is Beall ok to use with food stuff... I dino and have never used it, that is why I ask.Wizzy
