what is the red thing on the stand????

and what kind of top is this? is it a throw top?? or some sort of bearing driven wind up string top maybe??? or a finger top?? beautiful work no matter!!! gives me something to shoot for in my top making!!!

The Pink Ivory on the stand is a design element only to give it additional dimension. The top was meant to be a decorative piece only, but does work as a finger top.

the slivers of Pink Ivory in the top are cool too..... they add depth i think.
