Maple salad bowl, 14 1/4" dia. x 4 3/4" tall. "bowl in a bowl" double beaded rim, textured band and foot with Sorby texturing tool, sanded to 400 with butchers block oil finished burnished in.

Thanks Gary. I like this one too. Unfortunately this one was cut not long before the pressures caused it to become extremely high figured, so it's only moderately so, still pretty wood though.

Thanks Mike. I actually took that into consideration when making them. I use a special tool to make the groove that makes it shallow and wide so a sponge can get in there easily. I have sold about 20 of them with this style and most of the to women, so I assume it works OK.
