Spalted Chestnut Hollow form

Darned if I didn't find that round tuit under some spalted chestnut, so I turned another 2-piece, hollow form. Nice wood this. 8" x 3.5" w/Briwax. Yep, the inside is finished.

Good looking piece of wood and some nice work on that wood. A lovely piece. BTW, how thick is it? I'm just curious, especially since you did it as a two piece. 8)

I don't know Rev., perhaps 1/8"+. I'm not "hung up" on how thick or thin a piece is or is not. The beauty is in the wood, it's turning, and the finishing. I believe strongly in the K.I.S.S. principle.
