Red Cedar Bowl

This was my first bowl attempt and went alright but for a series of small cracks that occurred during sanding. There was also some discoloration that appeared after finishing. The shop sure smelled great!

aromatic red cedar might as well be a professional dancer man... I have a nice little stash of some whole tree of the stuff, but i don't hardly mess with it because it moves so much.

But... this bowl has inspired me... i never knew something that pretty could be in that hamster smelling log... think i might havta dig a log or two out and give it a spin!!!
