Red Oak Natural Edge Bowl

Description: Red Oak. 10"x7". Mahoney's walnut oil finish. I thought I would post a different view of a natural edge bowl because of the lovely rays in this piece of oak. As always all comments and critiques are most welcome.

Great form and nice thin natural edge Gary! Definitely a keeper! I can't see anything to critique except to say keep doing what you're doing!

Very impressive NE bowl Gary. Red oak has great rays, and the symmetry is perfect.

Gary, was this turned green? I made a similar shaped natural edge bowl, not quite as deep, from gambel oak. Was real proud of it and then it started cracking. Almost broke completely in two. Oak has great bark for a natural edge though. Beautiful shape too.
