Jerry, I like the form of the bowl very much but to my eye the hackberry did not need any additional embellishment. I like the darker band on the inside but the one on the rim makes the piece a little too busy. To me this is a pretty piece of wood that can speak for itself. But what do I know. It is still a very nice piece.
