Thanks guys. I prefer the matte like finish that mineral oil and beeswax produces. This is another blank bought at woodcraft on a recent trip there. I thought I'd try something different than wet myrtle. I have a few logs of that stuff. Nice grain on the myrtle. I turn them and let them warp in a paper bag.
Would you like to trade some black locust for some of that myrtle. I got a bunch from a tree that came down in a tornado last year here in Indiana and would like. Send me a PM if your interested.
