This is another is what is becoming a series of beaded ash vessels. This one was dyed with orange aniline dye and then treated with black patinating wax to accent the grain. It measures 10 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter.
These beaded ones are all turned as just one piece and hollowed through the top. I suppose that if one really screwed up a bead, the bad part could be turned off and another piece joined on, but I think it would really be hard to match the curve. I think it would be a lot easier just to start over.
