Spalted Dogwood bowl

I have postd this before on other websites and maybe even on this one before the big crash. This came from a dead tree that was in my neighbors yard across the street from me when I lived in Albany GA. It startd out round and turned to finish size and has three coats of minwax polycrylic on it even then it still warped but that just magnified its beauty in my mind. My wife has claimed it as hers. I should add that this is one fo my first green wood bowls I have ever attempted and it si still my wifes fav after almost 4 years.

Very nice piece of wood, Phil. Too bad we can't get ahold of this kind of stuff everyday. I like the warp too. Your wife has good taste.
