This piece was quite a challenge to make. It took me longer to tweak angles to make a perfect fit than it did to cut them all and glue them. That was a challenge too! Due to the way they fit together, they had to be glued up all at once.
After rough shaping, the points of intersection where drilled out and a plug inserted.
Your segmented work is quite wonderful, SkyJ. I used to do some segmented work myself and found some 3M stretchable packing tape that was wonderful for clamping irregularly shaped segmented items while gluing. Again very nice work.
