Honduran Rosewood, Mahogany, and Red Oak. I made this for my daughter, she said she wanted a heavy bowl. With and out with a finish.

Wizzy, I'm starting to see a pattern with your work. Your tool work is nice. No noticable gouges in the wood. The sanding looks to be done well too. I see no scratches. Your finish looks really nice as well. Now if you can work on a more graceful curve you'll have the total package. Someone else has suggested going through the gallery and finding a shape that you like and practice it a while. Then go to another. Soon you will begin to feel and know shapes that work better than others. You're off to a fine start. 8)
