acasia bowl

I was given several pieces of this wood ..was told its mainly in hawaii ...high end furniture wood so im told...soaked in detergent and let dry for 2 weeks 10"x3"deep

as usual the pic's don't really bring it out...its really very pretty wood..almost came apart on me with that bark inclusion in the upper right corner but managed a save.

Kind of looks like a large yellow/orange leaf with stem laying in a pale colored bowl. Cool!
