Dyed and Spalted Hackberry Vase

9.5h x 7w dyed spalted hackberry. This was a commissioned piece where the customer requested an "orangy, redish rust color". I am not crazy about the piece itself, but I was proud to have achieved the color based upon her discription. I was quite surprised when this piece made the cover of WOW a while back.

Do you have your photography done or do you do it yourself? And if you are doing it yourself, what are you doing? A photographer friend of mine checked out your site and was quite impressed.

I do it myself with a simple photo tent set up and a 4.0 mp Kodak camera.
