Cocobola HF

Another little Cocobola HF. This one's 2-3/4"H x 3-1/2"W. Finished with Seal-A-Cell and buffed with Tripoli and wax.

Hey that's a very nice piece. I like the HF shape and the wavy grain accents the piece nicely. I've never heard of "seal a cell" before. Is that a sanding sealer? I'm with you on the Tripoli and the Wax. I've noticed that the Tripoli is too aggressive with sanding sealer so I've started with White Diamond buffs and then the wax buffs.

Very nice shape and finish. Isn't Cocobolo a joy to turn? Very forgiving. Something like turning fruitwood. Beautiful grain. Congrats!

i dont think i've seen a piece turned from cocobolo I didn't like. I love the wood, the shape and finish. very good piece, a job well done.
