Spiraling Examples

These were done with the Serious texturing/spiraling tool, which is pretty much the same as the Sorby. For the benefit of Jim (kidcolumbia) and his post asking about the Sorby.
It's difficult to get a really clean cut with this, unless you're using hard wood like Maple and the wheel is very sharp.

That is too cool, Ken. I see lots of decorative possibilities for canes, boxes, peppermills, spindles etc. Excellent!
