Cherry Vessel

6.5 x 5 Cherry hollow form. Yes it IS wood. This was originally a piece that I used to demonstrate a texturing technique to my local club. I then decided to singe the high spots with a spoon point tip of my woodburner. I think the effect came out pretty well.

Jerry, it is a fine piece of work.
I like the texturing, and it looks like leather.

Thanks for the comments. The original texturing was done with a dremmel engraver with a round diamond point bit in place of the engraving bit.
