It is hollowed from the bottom, although I would challenge anyone to find the plug. The only thing I dont like about this form is that it is top heavy when you pick it up because you have to leave an extra thickness in the top for relieving around the spout.
very cool piece. if it were shorter and you added a stem to the spout it would make a neat looking turned apple. you should try that. very cool I like it alot.
I'm with the rest of the crew. I am loving this one. I recently saw a video of a fellow doing this but didn't pay near enough attention to it. Anyway, it is pretty cool. You did a great job with it. Looks like you have a great, long, sweeping curve from bottom to transition. Really nice work. 8)
