Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival - 2006

This is a snapshot of my partial booth from MWBF in Madisonville, LA. It's one of the shows I have been doing for 2 years now. The chess set up front is my pride and joy. I don't care if it doesn't sell. Everything is handmade including the pieces, squares, except for the marbles which adourn each piece. Over 60 hours into this one.

i was looking a little closer at the picture... it looks like either the queens are taller than the kings, or your board is set up incorrectly...queen should be a bit shorter than the King, and the queen should be on her color... so on the light side, left is queenside, and opposite in the dark side.

Also, just out of curiosity, did you make any extra pieces to go with the set?? most tourney level sets come with an extra queen for each side.
