padauk box

my second box, out of padauk, with a tulipwood finial. 2.75 in wide, 4.75 in tall with a 2 in finial. finished with mylands friction polish. my first box to 'pop'.

Pretty piece. Looks like you got a real smooth finish. Not the easiest thing to do on padauk. My preference would be to thin the finial way down or leave it off. A small knob would appeal to me much more. Anyhow, you done good. 8)
