Looking much better. One thing that I found helps the asthetics of goblets in most cases is to have a transitional element between the stem and both the bowl and the base. The only other suggestion would be to thin the stem just a bit more, maybe 3/16 would do the trick. Just gives a more elegant appearance. You are doing great. Looks like you're ready to get into the next C&T. Be on the watch for further information. 8)
Nice shape and great finish. I also second what Rev commented re: the caliber of the stem. When you begin to get it down to, say, 3/16, it will probably begin to whip a bit. In that case, use either a steady if you have one, or you can also support the stem with your left hand fingers as you take very light cuts with your right. At the same time, mind your left hand and arm as they might be somewhat close to the chuck. You can also use the live center to support the bowl, but do not exert much pressure with it or the stem will warp.
Wow, this sounds like fun. Think I will chuck up a piece of something and do a goblet!
