Created this one as a retirement gift for my supervisor.
Club head from Red Tidewater Cypress, once a ceiling joist in a pre-civil war home. The tee from Cocobolo topped with a Maple ball and Goncalo Alves base, approximately 6" diameter. Most of the club head carving was done on a bandsaw. This was my first attept and has been difficult trying to duplicate it.
I want you to know that you are inspiring me to do all kinds of things from this idea. My father is a golf fanatic. I have thought about making a set of mini clubs and a wooden bag to put on a stand for his desk. This is a very cool piece.
