What are your woods there, Curt? The base is real good looking. And it's a nice looking turning too. As I read your story on the other thread, I wondered if you made a bit of a depression in it. Nice job. No wonder your brother asked you to make more. I might ought to try that with some of my church members. Wink

Thanks Rev. The base is Walnut and it does have a slight bowl in it to keep the top from going off the edge. The top is cocobolo with apple for the center spindle.
