Boxelder and Maple

the bottom is boxelder and mes. 3" high 4.5" wide with a 2.5" opening. the top is quilted maple.with the top it mes. 4.5" tall. finish is seal-a-cell

That is just as pretty as it can be Hoss. My only suggestion would be to carry the nice form on the sides of this form and do away with the foot. But overall a very attractive piece.....

I agree with Mike on the foot unless it aids in popping the top off. I can't tell if the join is at the widest part or the ring midway down the top slope.

TomT it's at the ring midway down, and the foot dose help get the top off. after I posted this pic I had to take the top back to the lathe because it warped. but now it fits alot better.
