Da "pop" is what, it seems, "everybody" wants. I find it disconcerting to have to hold the box down while ya take off the cover, i.e., ya have your coffee in one hand a ya want a piece of candy; ya either put the coffee down or pick up the whole box, cover, candy, & all. A nice, tight, fit that won't lift the whole box when ya try to remove the cover is what I like.

That being said, that a very nicely turned & finished box, lad; I like it.

sorry guys no "pop" my goal is no "slop" and if I get pop that is an added bonus.

Nothing wrong with no slop. I don't worry so much about pop. I prefer a suction fit so the lid will stay on when it is upside down but you don't get a hernia removing it....Nicely done, Larry!
