Walnut Crotch

Just wanted to share this little Vase with you folks.
Between the curl---crotch---and the sap wood this block of Walnut shows off real nice. The finish is some of that home brew that I make.

Awsome looking piece. I wish my walnut pieces looked that good. I'd be interested in learning more about your "home made brew" as well!

Homebrew----Hummm---You gets a 5 gallon bucket and start mixing. Several tricks---make dang sure it's oil based or you gets mess. I start with a gallon of Minerail Sprits----a gallon of BLO------quart of Antique Danish oil. From this point you just add smaller amounts of you favorits until it does what you want. The good part about making 5 gallons at a time you have plenty to last a while.
This aint even something that I have written down anywhere.
