That is a very good-looking box Philip. Never saw Butternut wood before, it has a pleasant color.

Like a glove Chris. I didn't sand it like you said not to do and it slides around 360 degree snugly no sloppy play in it and no half turn locking. I did miss a spot on the lid while I was sanding I can see it on the very top of what I guess you could call it the finial. I can see it real good here in this pic, didn't see it until now, something about the lighting makes it stand out.
