Choke Cherry

NE Cherry
The cracks (the zig zag ones) are from stress when the tree fell only being cut 1/2 way thru. This came off a job I was
working on and made this for the homeowner . Clients eat that stuff up!!

Nice piece. What is the size? All the choke cherry I know of has been in bush form 2-3 inch max. diameter.

This is the wood boxmaker ask about . I was told it was choke cherry but later informed it was laural cherry. The tree was 10" at base but rotten thru the center. dimensions 6 1/2 x 3 tung oil finish (Chris's method)
