Heres a cutoff of manzanita. Finished in tung oil. Just glued it to a piece of plywood and mounted it on a faceplate. Moved it for each "bowl". This little piece was fun!

I like doing multi-center turning; it can give some really stunning results. I've not tried the plywood mounting technique but I will.

It's a very well-done piece, sky.

I made sure to take enuff out of the largest bowl to counter balance it. Most of it was pure luck tho. If you were to put a dime in the outer bowl it would tip!!
