Christmas Ornament

Teak and purpleheart. This started out with the intention of having a solid spindle turning inside. After breaking one end off, that piece was going to be the bottom. After breaking the other end off (and not wanting to start over) I decided to suspend it inside off fishing line.

No matter how you got there it is way cool! Did you ever look at the backs of old dressers etc., it is interesting how they recovered from some of their Oops.
