Footed Vases

While I was in foot mode. Left is Bleached Holly with Paduke rim and foot. It's 5.5"x4.5" Finished in waterborne flat lacquer. Foot and rim were buffed. The one on the right is Maple with Paduke rim and foot. Lacquer finish. Comments always welcome.

Really nice work and good proportion, though at first glance the foot on the right-hand vase looked a tad tall. The business of using matte finish on the white part of the left-hand vase is superb.

I like the attached rims on these Gary. I've done some bowls like that and they are always well received. Nice choice of woods.
