Spalted Hollowform

This is some unknown spalted wood that I was given. And unfortunatly, this wood really was dead. The white bits were so soft that you could easily pick it out with your nails. So it was pritty difficult so cut clean, so i resorted to filler, which kind of worked, but in a lot of places simply fell out.

It was finished with sanding sealer and then melamine lacquer. And is 6 1/2 inches high, by 8 1/2 inches wide.
