Simple hollowed vase

Told you I was going to attack a piece of wood with the Scorpion tonight. ( A GREATLY needed night off from studies.)
Sweet chestnut, little over 13 inches, endgrain. Hollowed through and through to 1/8".

That I am. It is by far the best hollowing tool I have used. I like it MUCH better than the woodcut that I had a chance to use. Much more steady, and very easy to have a light touch.
I need to write a not to Mr. Pencil, and thank him.
