Nice work. How did you get the assymetrical top? Was it done with a sander of some type or with an escentric chuck?

As for design, the blackwood on the end id my favorite. I also like #2, #3 and #5. #4 looks a bit thick but the wood grain is beautiful.

The purpleheart is nicely done but out of character with the rest. DClassic design noe the less.

Thanks Glenn. I used a rotary carving burrs and sanding drums to do the tops. The Blackwood is also my favorite. I agree #4 is too thick, would have been better thinner. The purple heart is actually one of my old designs I don't no why I put that one in there.

Nice looking stoppers, JD. I don't see a thing wrong with any of them. In fact, I really like the departure from the norm. Bet your customers like them as well. 8)

Hey GC, took me awhile to figure out what "P" word you were talking about but I think I got it. I'm glad it gave you some new ideas. I was just playing around trying out what I thought was new shapes. I probably saw these somewhere and just forgot.
