This is a bowl I was demonstrating on the night of the WR gathering at the Symposium. Spalted maple, about 17" diameter, over 4" tall, wall thickness was pretty consistent at 3/8". It has a very low profile foot to make it look like it's floating off the surface. Phil, Rev and I all had a hand in it so we all 3 signed the bottom (see next photo)...
Start saving your pennies folks. It will be part of the raffle and you won't want to be left out. I've already started my fund. Hope it finds its way home in Hardinsburg, KY. I know it can smell home from Phil's house. 8)
Home, heck it is home and it wants to stay Seriously though, whoever wins it will be one lucky person. I buffed the outside today and it is looking good.
