Thanks for the comment, and I can play a few tunes,drives the wife mad. I've made several of these for friends, they get into trouble also. This is no toy it sounds beautiful. I got a book from amazon,tells you how to make them.
This is G minor, the process is quite involved because it has two chambers and is made in two pieces with the chambers being produced with a round nose router bit and the frippel produced with a fordem and a series of files. You really need the book. I'll post some links for you to research.

Pretty cool Freddie. I actually know a guy who plays these flutes (recorders) in a quartet. There is a lot of music written for these, believe it or not. Lots of classical.
