Inspired by Big Mike's boxes, I decided it was time I turned a few again (for fun and for the raffle) so here's the first one. Mazur Birch Box - 2 3/16" tall x 2 5/8" diameter, friction polish finish.

I like the shape of this one! Nice hidden join line too.
Those little agromyzia carbonayra bugs sure do a great job
turning bland wood into beautiful wood.

Thanks guys, this wood is amazing to turn and always looks gorgeous. What you can't really see in the photo are the matching 3 lines on the top of the lid and there are 3 more on the bottom.
