Boxwood/walnut box - 395

Chris sent me this wood in a wood trade we did that evolved into a piece trade. This is the piece I made for him. It's 2 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" tall finished with renaissance wax. Absolutely incredible wood to turn. I've never made such pretty shavings :-)) Chris's piece to me is on it's way so I'll post a pic of that when it arrives. I'm counting the days......

5 days to go Pam, it's supposed to be there Wednesday via UPS.

In case anyone is wondering, this was a piece of 28 year old Cambodian Boxwood I had. If you haven't tried turning it yet, you should.
