Nice try, young fellow but a few hours too late ;-)
That's right, I didn't ship until today. Yesterday I had a notion to fill my signature in with some kind of coloring--it was engraved with an electric buzzy thingy. A fellow club member recommended shoe polish to make it more visible. I found some green acrylic paint, tryed rubbing it in. That worked fine, but getting the green off the surface didn't and it looked like $hit. So I remounted the goblet on the lathe, and took a light cut off the bottom to start over with a new sig. Of course I had to renew the finish, and by then the PO was closed so I let it sit another day.
But it's now on the way! ))
Yeah, especially this one! The fact that a small part of the screw hole still existed on the bottom made it easier, though--I only had to keep the whole thing from flopping around (easy, with the tailstock), and make a light cut with a parting tool.
