Sycamore, walnut and mulberry birdhouse

This was the first one I did. The cedar was the second. this one is a bit smaller. 12" tall and 3 1/4" across the base. the hole does not go all the way through and it too will have a dowel inserted just below the hole

This one actually has the top of the lower section that I was talking about. Incorporate this design element with the rest of the design of the other one and you have a winner. Good job friend. 8)

That's a good looking birdhouse Philip.
At our last turning club meeting Bert Hamblin gave a demo on making peppermills. He's making a new type that are lighthouse shaped. Here's a link to see them...
